Edwin has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. During his career Edwin has been in charge of accounting departments for companies in various industries including asset management, construction, distribution, finance, manufacturing, media and software.

Edwin currently is president and owner of a private asset holding company which focuses on real estate acquisitions, development, rentals and sales. Prior to this Edwin co-founded Midtown Partners, a firm specializing in PIPE transactions, APO’s, and recapitalizations of small to mid-sized companies. Edwin served as Vice President at Midtown and earned his General Securities, Principal and FinOps licenses (Series 7, 24, 27 and 63) for the firm.  During this time Midtown became the fifth most active placement agent in the country for PIPE transactions in terms of number of deals completed. Also during this time Edwin cofounded Halthion Medical Technologies to acquire, re-develop, and deploy wireless telemetry assets. These assets were acquired after completion of a seven figure funding round within several months of starting the company. Also during his time at Midtown, Edwin founded Expedition Leasing, a company which he took public serving as CFO.  The company was acquired by an international venture, giving many of Expedition’s original investors an 800% plus return on investment within five years. Prior to that Edwin served as Interim VP of Finance for Trendium, a telecom QOS software company. Prior to Trendium, Edwin served as CFO of LEN, a radio media syndication conglomerate. Before that Edwin served as Controller for Zeagle Systems, a manufacturing and distribution company with 80 employees. At Zeagle Edwin encompassed the roles of CFO, Executive VP and MCSE which allowed the company to drastically improve its financial health and profitability. Prior to that Edwin served as Accounting Manager for Southeast Distribution. Prior to that Edwin served in various accounting capacities at Azzarelli Construction, ending his tenure as Controller.

Edwin graduated from the Fisher School of Accounting at University of Florida with a BS in Accounting and a second major in Finance. Edwin has been president of two condominium associations to help give back to his communities. Edwin is an instrument rated pilot and volunteers to help interested youth learn how to fly. Edwin enjoys traveling and snowboarding in his time off.
